The basket is heavy, but not overly so. Its soft reeds creak against my hip where I clutch it as I walk. My steps are slow beneath the burden of the basket and nights unslept. I wind my way down the paths from one home to the next, passing house, pasture, field, and shed as I make my way to the center of life at the Angle. ( Continued here )
